Pimpri Chinchwad is famous for being the "twin cities". We can also know it as Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal corporation (PCMC). The city is very close to the Pune city in the state of Maharashtra . People call it "Industrial Township"and "Detroit of the East."

Geographical location of the “Detroit of the East"

On the Deccan Plateau, there is the exact location of Pimpri Chinchwad. The Hills surrounds the entire place, which makes the place have a pleasant climate.
